The Town Homes of Oriole is a well maintained residential community in Margate, FL. The community is close to shopping, entertainment, Coral Square Mall, and has A rated schools. Originally built in the mid 70’s, there are a total of 38 buildings with a total of 338 units. The community has 2 pools [one recently refurbished and the other is scheduled for spring 2013], a newly refurbished basketball area, and a newly refurbished and landscaped clubhouse that can be reserved for unit owners' events. Most units are 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath approximately 1400-1550 sq ft. Some 4 bedroom 2.5 bath 1600 sq ft units are available.  Each has a front court and back area that can be fenced for privacy.

 

  THO is a Non-Rental Owner Community and it does not have an age restriction for owning. Of Major note worthiness is that the association fee was raised once in 5 years and $450,000 worth of improvements in What's New / Revitalization have been accomplished without any special assessments. This includes redoing the clubhouse, lots of new landscaping, a playset for the younger kids and a new basketball court for the not so younger kids, refencing the pool area, and more. More difficult to show is the major upgrade to the security lighting where each building now has their own lights to further supplement the street lights.
